For the homework, it's 4 thumbnails with these requirements:
-Could be any subject matter, as long as you've attempted to use narrative framing to add importance to certain elements in your scene.
-They can be color, black and white, or photos, but try to experiment with the photo-bashing techniques you learned!!

week 10 resources

Hey guys, here are the week 10 resources. I had a blast teaching you all, and feel free to add me on Facebook :)

Concept art questionnaire:

Is there a discernible difference in value and color between my bg mg and foreground?

Do I have enough atmospheric fog in my painting? Refer to the rule above.

Have I used navigational elements to lead my viewer down the golden path?

Have I actually planned out how my character can traverse from point a to b?

Do I need landmark elements to add a narrative goal to the painting?

Are my silhouettes interesting enough?

Does the composition of my painting pass the “squint test?”

Is it obvious what every element is? Is everything readable?

If I’ve used photos and textures, is my resolution consistent?
